I have decided to undertake a design project focused on creating a multifunctional portable lamp with the ability to serve as an auxiliary table. My motivation stems from my passion for reading on the beach during the evenings and the idea of book clubs that gather in this environment. A common issue they face is the lack of adequate lighting and the inconvenience of carrying additional tables to support their drinks and books.

My proposal for a portable lamp not only provides soft and pleasant illumination to facilitate reading in nighttime conditions but also doubles as a functional table or shelf. This allows readers to enjoy their drinks and keep their books within reach, providing a more comfortable and versatile experience.

Versatility is a key aspect of this design, as members of book clubs have different preferences. Some prefer to read lying down, others walk along the beach while reading, and some choose to sit in groups. My lamp easily adapts to these diverse situations, offering flexibility in its positioning.

With this project, my goal is to enhance the night reading experience by eliminating concerns about inadequate lighting and the need for additional furniture.
